Ocean State Indoor Lacrosse League is now taking registrations for its fourth winter season!!

Field space has been secured at the Sherwood Ultra-Sports Center in Seekonk for grade school and middle school age players. The Ocean State Indoor season runs for eight sessions beginning the week of January 8th, with there being no games the week of February 18-22 (February Vacation). Plans call for there being two age groups for both the boys and girls divisions (grade school for grades 3-5 and middle school for grades 6-8). Like our past indoor programs, the knowledgeable OSLC coaching staff will provide valuable instruction to the players in a focused, fun, and positive setting. A portion of each session will be devoted to Speed & Agility work to improve the players’ athletic skills. Ocean State Indoor is a great opportunity for players of all abilities to play an outdoor style game indoors and prepare themselves for the spring season.

The 2008 OSI Schedule for each age group is tentatively planned as described below:

-         The rules of field lacrosse will apply with the following exceptions:

2- No faceoffs after a goal. Following the score of a goal, the goalie will retrieve the ball and begin clearing the ball upfield.
