Above is the 2007 Warriors' team that went to the Battle of the Hotbeds at the University of Delaware in late July. Despite a tough early draw, we persevered, finished strong by winning 4 of our last 5 games, and had a positive learning experience. We plan on returning in 2008!!
Three Warrior team competed at the 2007 RILAX Ocean State Classic, with the A team winning the high school championship with a 7-3 victory over the Comets. Two 2007 Warriors' teams were also successful at the Extremelax Tournament in July, making it to the semifinals in the High School B and JV divisions. Pictured above is the team that competed in the Extremelax High School division.
The 2006 Warriors' inaugural season was successful in developing a number of players, many of whom
went on to play in fall recruiting showcase tournaments at Brown, Harvard, and IAS (New Hampshire). Drawing players
from all over the state, the guys were a great group to work with. Players from rival schools came together and became
good teammates and friends. High school teammates improved the teamwork skills that will help their school teams. We will build on the foundation established in 2006 to improve our offerings and successes in 2007.
