5/18/09 update- Group tryouts for the Ocean State Summer Travel teams have concluded. For anyone who could not attend a tryout but is interested in playing this summer, please e-mail jeff@oceanlax.com for possible placement on a team.

 5/14/09 update- A third tryout for the Warrior Summer Travel teams will be on Sunday May 17th Guiteras School in Bristol from 4:00-6:00. Guiteras Field is behind the school on 35 Washington St. Washington St. intersects Hope St. (Rte. 114) across from Sip 'n Dip Donuts by Bristol Harbor. Go to the OSL Warriors Team Info. page for program details.

Warrior class of 2007 Warrior alumni Mike Augustus (Salve Regina) and Jim Turenne (Roger Williams) have been key contributors to their respective teams.  RWU edged Salve in a 9-8 overtime thriller in April, 2009.

4/13/09 update #2- Registration for the 4th annual Ocean State Lacrosse Camp (July 6-10) at St. Andrews School in Barrington has begun. This Camp (for boys ages 8-17) emphasizes the mastery of individual fundamental stick skills, the coaching of essential team strategies on offense, defense, and unsettled siuations, and the development of each camp a confident athlete and team player.

Registration fee is $350/player ($325 for US Lacrosse members); financial aid is available.

3/16/09 update- The Ocean State coaching staff wants to thank all players who worked hard & competed in our indoor programs this winter. We urge you to keep working on your stick skills with your teammates, friends, family, and the nearest wall!! We wish you the best of success with your respective teams and look forward to seeing you around this spring!!  

1/28/09 update- Registration for two new Ocean State programs is in progress:

- a 6 Week High School Girls Program on Wednesdays 4:00-5:30 starting Feb. 4th- $120

- a 6 Week Dodge & Shoot Skills Program on Wednesdays 5:00-6:00 starting Feb. 4th - $120

 1/11/09 update- Happy New Year to all!! Registration for the 5th annual Ocean State Winter  League at Sherwood UltraSport in Seekonk is winding down; a few roster spaces remain available. League play will start on the newly installed turf fields on Tuesday, Jan. 13th  for grade & middle school players.
